These headphones are so good they are the third pair I have bought. I would rate them 5 stars but due to the poor quality of the headband and headphones. The first pair was a gift and after a few years the belt broke and the clutches wore out. The second pair of straps I bought broke after a few months. I improvised an elastic band and used it for 2 more years. I have hearing problems and I find them invaluable for TV dialogue, but TV music sounds really good too. I just got my hearing aids but I still use these headphones to watch TV. My guess is that they work on an infrared principle that doesn't interfere with other 2.5G wireless devices in the room. The only other infrared phones I found were almost four times the price and didn't look much more powerful compared to the headband anyway. Great headphones, but be careful with the headband. In addition, the headphones wear out after 2 years and the price for replacing them with delivery is too high. So, for the third time, I decided to bypass the bandage and not stretch more than necessary.
