I USE THIS PRODUCT FOR WATCHING TV. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT. BUT. I HAVE PURCHASED THIS ITEM FIVE TIMES FROM DIFFERENT SELLERS. I REALLY NEED IT DUE TO SEVERE HEARING LOSS. PROBLEM: EVERY TIME I USE IT FOR APPROX. BUY 6 MONTHS, HEADBAND COMES OFF. THIS IS NOT INTENDED TO FIX. THE ONLY WAY TO CONTINUE USING IT IS TO DOWNLOAD THE FACE FABRIC OR PLACE IT ON YOUR HEAD SO THAT IT SUPPORTS THE HEAD. SOLUTION 2: BUY AGAIN. These headphones are so good they are the third pair I have bought. I would rate them 5 stars but due to the poor quality of the headband and headphones. The first pair was a gift and after a few years the belt broke and the clutches wore out. The second pair of straps I bought broke after a few months. I improvised an elastic band and used it for 2 more years. I have hearing problems and I find them invaluable for TV dialogue, but TV music sounds really good too. I just got my hearing aids but

I opened the box, put in 2 batteries and tried on the headphones. Everything was fine with the left ear, but only disturbances with the right one. Thinking it was the batteries, I recharged them only to find the same thing happened with charged batteries. I printed my refund receipt, repackaged the headphones and sent them back. A few years ago we ordered the whole set together with the TV box. I love them but I only gave them 3 stars because headphones always break. My husband just ordered me a pair of headphones last June and the headphones broke again! I'll probably attach them with tape or some kind of rubber band. Otherwise I would give 5 stars because they are great. If you get static, just make sure you're basically pointing the little TV box at yourself.
