Water runs out of the iron

I bought the iron 3 months ago. Water pours out, soaking the clothes I'm ironing and my ironing board. It worked fine when I first got it, but I would expect even a twenty dollar flat iron to last more than 3 months. Most of our clothes are permanently ironed and only a few items need ironing. I sometimes sew as a hobby and that's why I bought an iron. So it's only been used half a dozen times or less since I received it. I bought this iron because it had good reviews so I may have just bought Lemmon but I will never buy this brand again.
