I have a terrible problem with mosquitoes and mosquitoes in my motorhome due to a neighboring swamp. Somehow they pull through no matter what I do. I installed this in a lamp and turned off all the lights except just the flash. About five mosquitoes immediately flew in and I watched them run around the lightning rod throughout the interior. No latch. No one. I left and came back later and there was a dead mosquito. The others were still humming inside. I'm not sure if other reviewers are just placebo or if mine is a bug, but mine doesn't work as a zapper at all. I gave it two stars because it puts out a ton of light like a lightbulb, but I have lightbulbs. i need a zipper ***UPDATE 7/17/21*** Okay, I waited a few days and upgraded to three stars. It kills mosquitoes at least half the time. It rarely kills mosquitoes or anything but a mosquito. It's worth keeping for now, but we'll see how it works over the next few days.
