Bought to "hold back" messy projects for my 4 and 10 year olds (slime, kinetic sand, plasticine, painting, etc.). They worked better than I thought. If they aren't wet or completely ground up, I shake them off and reuse them. For big messes I can just roll everything up and throw it away.
