I bought a pair of SWIMS from Amazon about 2 months ago, I tried them on and immediately felt uncomfortable, the fabric upper or some other part of the shoe was causing me pain in the toe area. I thought wearing them for a few days would fix the problem but that didn't happen, they were always uncomfortable. I ended up wearing moleskin on the sides to make them somewhat comfortable as I really like their look and I love the overall idea, nice water sandals. I lost my original pair last week while I went camping so I decided to give them another chance and tried to buy them again when I searched online I saw they were for sale in Bloomingdale and same day were available for pickup. So I bought them and when I tried them on I found that they didn't have the issues my original pair had. In fact, they were incredibly comfortable. They are the same size, color and style as the previous ones I bought so I don't know what the problem is. I was beginning to think that the originals I bought from Amazon might have been poorly made fakes. I have no way of proving this as the box and packaging looked identical to the Bloomingdale version so I can't be sure. Anyhow, the moral of the story is to make sure you buy from a reputable store to get the authentic version of these shoes. The pair I bought from Bloomingdale's are incredibly comfortable so I highly recommend you buy them.
