Well, let me update. It could have great potential to become a great tablet. But as others have pointed out, start off with a wonderful honeymoon as the specs initially behaved as one would expect for the listed specs of a lesser known brand. Yes, initially the speed, the amount of memory, the feel of iron, all at an affordable price really made me believe this was a keeper. And then the downsides became more obvious. Two things made me return it disappointed and I really wish it was a tablet. I can create media in HD and use 4G LTE when not my available WiFi (bought for no other reason, not for gaming, not for office work, not for travel, movies and streaming only) HD. But it's not quite Full HD unless the main national streaming services are in Full HD. Which the hardware of this tablet should be able to handle and deliver well. Maybe the next model with this fix will be a super good LTE tablet for the price range. And when the tablet crashed about three times, getting it back before my Revain Prime refund ran out was my red flag. Now I'm back on the hunt for the right features at the right price. There are better tablets with similar features and prices, but none of them support 4G LTE (Dragon Touch, Yestel, etc.). So I can just do what I should have done before, buy a more expensive Samsung with lower specs. At least I can watch in HD like Galaxy 8.4 on T-Mobile. I did a lot of research, looked at a lot of reviews and kept looking at the specs of several Android tablets available. My main criteria were the screen's speed, reliability and pixel quality, since it's mainly used for watching videos and movies. Before that I bought about two others from Teclast. The previous two were terrible and I immediately sent them back a few days later. Despite the good reviews, the previous ones were sluggish and the screen quality wasn't worth it. So I didn't have high hopes for this third tablet from Teclast. Well I'm glad to be pleasantly surprised. Third, maybe it's charm. This tablet is a sentinel. For the price you get a pretty good tablet. The screen is really good and the volume is loud enough, at least for me when watching my shows and movies. Touch screen response is good too, no complaints. Speed is pretty smooth and delivers as good as some national brand models I've had (Samsung, old iPads, etc.). My next test was to try out the 4G capabilities with my TMobile SIM card. And there are no complaints either. The signal was good. I could watch YouTube without interruption. I've used the speed test app with both WiFi and a SIM card and either is sufficient. However, I did not check the option with a second SIM card. If I had any downsides at all it would be that it's not fast charging (as far as I can tell as my phone supports fast charging, fully charges in about an hour and a half and this tablet needs to be left on for a few hours to charge), but oh well the battery actually lasts all day considering I use it for a ton of YouTube videos and my own SD card movies which I used to download to my tablet. My only concern is that I don't know how long the tablet will last. I've been using it regularly for over two weeks now. I just hope this lasts for a while as I really don't want to look for a replacement if it breaks after the return window. So I will update this review in a few months and hopefully all goes well. So, to be honest, I don't know what few people are complaining about the price of this tablet and what it offers in general. Sometimes I wonder if people have a different mindset when trying these lesser-known brands. Of course, this tablet doesn't cost more than the established $140 price range, give or take. I already had a screen protector installed, so all I had to do was buy a tablet case. I mean worth it, this Android 10 tablet from Teclast is of good quality, offers smooth performance, has decent specs and enough battery life for media consumption.
