Review on Universal Tablet Case: ProCase 9-10.1 Inch - Sleek Protection for All Tablets! by Hikeboy Ramey

Universal design fits Lenovo M8 FHD well - better than expected

The universal mount uses elastic loops (silicone?) that slide around the four corners. On my Lenovo M8 FHD, this mounting system works better than I expected. There are no covers with a cover for this model, so universal covers are the only option. It's easy to use, feels solid, and the hinges don't block any of the ports, camera, speaker, or controls. The case appears to be of decent quality, but the brown faux leather on the inside feels a little cheap, and only time will tell if its light-colored finish gets dirty after a lot of manipulation. The swivel function is also better than I expected and is one of my favorite features of this case. I use it to change the orientation of the tablet when connecting cables to the ports so the cables don't press against the table top which would otherwise cause the ports to warp. One downside to the swivel design is that it makes the case thicker than most other models. The advantage of this is the additional protection of the tablet. Likewise, this case has slightly larger external dimensions than the specific model, but again this provides additional protection for the tablet. Even at the larger and thicker size of this case it's still quite acceptable, the 'pocket' added to the lid isn't particularly useful (it's too thin to hold much and won't close) and just adds to the case . Thickness. The faux leather exterior looks decent and the stitching is neat, giving it a respectable look overall. The raised ribs that hold the bottom of the tablet when using the case as a stand aren't very big - they're not big enough to hold the bottom edge of the tablet in place. So the stand configuration of this case is only stable if you leave your tablet/case in place and don't intend to move it. In addition, only one of the three edges offers the desired angle in portrait or landscape mode. Even one corner is a little steeper than I prefer but works for most uses. I'm not sure how well this case will hold up over time. One area of concern is the spine (where the front and back covers are hinged). It appears to develop creases which can become unsightly and cheap after heavy use.
