I love dipping markers, but I don't like fragile tips and constant switching. Worse still, the quality of the nibs varies greatly and two identical nibs may have different defects. The School-G pen is an expensive investment, but the quality is fantastic. You get the fine, varied lines of a fountain pen without the hassle of dipping and cleaning. I replaced the disposable cartridge with a $5 refillable fountain pen cartridge and used Noodlers Titanium Black ink. Works perfectly. This pen has completely replaced my $100 Namiki Falcon fountain pen.
