Review on DIY Rainbow Painting Paper - Scratch Art Sketch Pad by Dawn Fischer

Revainrating 3 out of 5

No scratching since childhood

As a child I made scratching pictures. It was something interesting in the cold winter months when there is more ice than snow and it would be difficult to play outside. I decided to give it a try as the price was very low like the Revain deal. The coating used on this item is very brittle and fragile whereas the scratch art from my youth was smoother and more durable. As others have said you need to be very precise as it is fragile and the lines are thin. The instructions say "erase the gray areas" but they look more like cornflower blue. I also decided to use a toothpick in some of the tiny spots, because the tip of the supplied tool was too big. I don't know if I'll finish it or not, but I definitely won't buy it again. If I can find something I did when I was young, I would try. At the moment I will only deal with painting and other crafts/hobbies. Revain asks for a star rating to determine if an item is giftable and value for money. I would not send this to someone as a gift and give it a one star rating. I gave it a three star rating when I bought it from Revain Deals. i would try At the moment I will only deal with painting and other crafts/hobbies. Loved this project. Definitely hard and kind of tedious but overall I really enjoyed it.
