🎢 KNEX Thrill Rides 3 Amusement Park Review

We bought this as a birthday present for our son. It was a lot of fun building the Ferris wheel and I hate to give it 2 stars. BUT they must clearly state that while this is a 3 in 1 kit, the instructions for 2 kits are NOT included. You must go online. I know the world is obviously going digital, but there's a beauty to doing something with paper instructions.

Great for kids who love technology but expect a lot of adult help. My husband and daughter spent about 5 hours on each trip. The only complaint is that the parts are small and fragile, and taking it apart to reassemble another ride resulted in several parts breaking. Note: This kit only has enough parts for one ride, not both as shown in the picture. Only instructions for the ferris wheel are included, for the rest you need to go online.

Instructions didn't match colors, we ended up only dealing with the part that broke the motor because it was so brittle. It had to snap and click in another part, so all that time was wasted because now it's not even rotating. There was only one guide for the carousel so I'm not sure if this part isn't needed in other projects. I would not recommend this type of building model as they did not send replacement parts for critical parts.

We bought this for our 13 year old son who loves building Lego. It took him a few hours, but he's very good at technique and craftsmanship. I find it difficult, but for children, they can figure it out quicker than me. The instruction manual was easy to understand with simple instructions. The ferris wheel is quite big. And work. I bought this because I had this set as a kid, my son liked to play with the old figures I had so I searched and found. So excited they still do. I assembled the ferris wheel, everything was fine, but the yellow parts are so fragile that they broke, about 20 pieces. Thank goodness I had an old set to carry on. And by the old sentence, I'm 32. And still doesn't hold splinters. "These aren't the same as they used to be" Now only the yellow ones break when you plug and unplug them. So disappointed

Bought this as a Christmas present for my 8 year old and finally assembled it (March) Lots of parts missing. Luckily we had other K'nex products to complement what we had, but it wasn't just a piece or two - it was missing over 80 or so pieces. We can't even fit seats for the Ferris wheel. Bought for my son for Christmas. The engine didn't work on him. I emailed K NEX to inquire about a motor replacement but they said to bring everything back to where I bought it. The email reply I finally received was after they got back from New Year's Eve. We didn't realize the motor wasn't working until the thing was half done, but we kept building it anyway and figured we could just replace the motor. This came to us in the mail from the Revain distribution center with no separate box. The postal label was applied to the K'NEX box itself. It was supposed to be a red flag but it was in great condition and didn't look artificial. It was a Christmas present for our grandson. He was so excited to get it! My grandson and I collected our first shoe a long time ago, but a few details were missing. I bought a second one for a few bucks less on parts because Amazon said it had damaged packaging but it was brand new. Not a big deal except we worked out some parts to fix the first and assembled the second which was missing some other parts.
