Jacksonville, FL has the WORST public water I have ever had the privilege of drinking. I feel like I'm in a third world country. You MUST have fabric softener to live here. My houseplants get sick the most when I feed them the local tap water, my water-drinking cats turn into slime every week, and when I wash my hair it doesn't even look like I've washed it - it's like - something looks MORE BOLD. Pooh. This shower filter. If you live here and feel like your hair is flat and dull, it's because of that disgusting water. This filter is great. We moved into an apartment with all the jets, and it took me about a year with greasy, lifeless hair to finally understand that it was a water system and that this filter needed replacing. I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in my hair condition after changing the filter - wow! Don't buy online because it's more expensive. This filter is legal.
