The first impression I had of this scale with the old 5 0 5 from the USA was that they were identical in function and accuracy . My sample drifts little, if at all, like the old 5 0 5. The only noticeable drift after weighing 10 loads doesn't exceed 0.1 grains. I like the design in general. The only major difference between the old and new scales is the weight. The new 5 0 5 models are lighter, which certainly helps reduce costs. All the details are well done on these new ones. Nothing seemed too cheap or fragile for long-term use. I don't really like the white color of this new scale, but never mind. I can't call the scale ideal, and every scale is like that. In its current form, this is normal, and any reloader can welcome it to their bench unless you're extremely critical of weight accuracy. For a regular reloader, this one has what you need. Nothing to worry about when you get a good scale out of the box, so stock up on those cases. Check the zero point at least once every ten weighments and you should be fine. They are made in China in case you are wondering where they are made. Luckily mine showed it wasn't a dummy. Approved and better than the RCBS M500 which I turned down.
