I bought this scale to keep track of my premature baby's weight and wanted to use it to weigh food. For a general idea of how much she weighed, this worked fine, but only seemed accurate to within a few ounces. When I weighed two things separately and added the weights together, I got a different weight than if I weighed them together (and the difference was more than rounds could explain). I also tested this when I was bottle feeding her and it only showed that she gained 1.5 ounces when she only took a 4 ounce bottle. I don't know if I got a defective one or something, but I didn't trust it enough to make weighted feeds. If you don't need it to be super accurate, it works great. It is easy to assemble and use. It's just not as accurate as I had hoped.
