Unfortunately I have to join the camp of the other reviewers who found this sponge extremely inadequate and defective. I've been using (and loving) sponges for a few years now, but this is the first one that has literally fallen apart. I'm the only one who uses it, I'm very careful and handle it very well. However, it started to fall apart after only 2 uses. Isn't that a natural sponge? Just broken? I don't know, I'm not a sponge specialist. But after paying over $20 for it, I expected it to last quite a while. I was so impressed with the description of these sponges given by the company that I bought one each not only for myself but also for my daughter, granddaughter and grandson - they all turned out to be defective. Such a terrible waste of money! Now, to be fair, it's possible that not ALL of this company's sponges are defective, but there are enough of them that I can't in good conscience recommend them. For a truly authentic and durable natural sponge, I recommend looking elsewhere. I know what I'm up to.
