Nice little kit, easy to remove silicone insert. The cutter is a nice little tool, I had to lift the planer blade at the bottom and I can use it to bevel nicely and plan/shave the sides of the soap. The jig cutouts are: 1) adjustable part, 2) 1 1/16" and 3) 1 1/8". I want my husband to make me one the same size because I love baking a loaf and cutting all the bars to the same size. However, you can crop to a size of your choice or one of their presets. The crumb brush is good. The spatula is clean and solid so the end doesn't fall off like the ones I bought at the dollar store lol! Scoop it up to make ripples at the top (anything that sticks out over the top of the mold), you'll end up with a large bar of soap that's difficult to fit in the cutter. If you want to lay it on its side to cut, it's too big to fit in. If you set it straight, it's too high and you'll have to "aim" the cutter into the grooves. Found this easier said than done and got a lot of sloping bars. If you are considering getting into soap making I would suggest investing in a better cutting tool. But for crafters like me who enjoy making soaps for family and gifts for friends, this is a cute little set!
