Fine/Baby Clipper

I bought these clippers because we all need a haircut and salons are closed (due to Covid). Obviously every other hair clipper on the internet has sold out and I found this one. My older child has a sensory processing disorder and haircuts have always been very difficult and I wish I knew about these types of clippers. (Maybe they weren't there when he was a baby 10 years ago?!) However, the sound isn't a soft whisper - it's the slightly quieter sound of toothbrush cleaning. The shields included in the kit are double-sided. You can flip it over and attach it to a different size hair clipper. The guards are white and you have to look very closely from behind to see how big they are in millimeters. I used a marker to write the appropriate # size so I can identify it easier - the largest size it comes in is about #3.5/4 (9-12mm). I wish it came in bigger sizes/bigger variety. But it worked for us since my kids usually do about #3 on the sides of their head. It charged up in just a few hours and was pretty easy to use. The kit included a small brush for cleaning, a bottle of oil, a children's apron (smaller velcro for the neck, more laces for the neck). My kids are 10 and 8 and I was usually able to use this on them with no problems (aside from my haircut skill level lol). They have straight hair of medium length - not too thick, but not thin either. I was very concerned that this clipper would not be able to handle hair that did not fit the baby and that it would pull my children's hair. But it wasn't like that at all! After trimming my two kids, I used this to finish off my husband's haircut. and it really pulled my husband's hair. His hair isn't much thicker than my kids' hair (it's actually getting thinner) but I'm pretty sure it's because the clipper ran out of battery. Next time I'll have to make sure it's fully charged beforehand. Glad I have these clippers, we will definitely continue to use them during this strange time of the pandemic.
