My friend works in a warehouse and hates eating inside because there are too many people. So he leaves his lunch basket in the car when the weather is 20-60 degrees. This thing keeps food really warm in cold weather like this. I add boiling water while I cook his burritos, after I'm done I wrap him in foil, pour out the water, dry him inside, put the burritos in, put the lid on that bad boy, and after 4-5 hours, he says they are still very warm. I've only used it in burritos since I remembered my mom used it in my dad's burritos too. So I can't speak of wet food or other food. But when you need something to keep foil wrapped food warm, this is perfect!
