They don't just turn out small. They're not the size they're talking about. There are definitions and standards for shoe sizes. I ordered US 11.5 million. The length is good, but these are definitely *skinny* shoes. Above the arch, about where the last lace is, is a strip that mercilessly crushes 11.5m regular-size feet. Using an insole thicker than the paper insole that comes with the kit is completely eliminated. Worse, they have a very stiff heel cup with little to no cushioning. If your foot doesn't fit perfectly (which is very likely given the sizing issue) they will chafe *a lot*. Of the many brands/models of shoes I've used in a 4,000+ mile run, these are the only ones that cause blisters - a nice little coin-sized one on the inside of my left heel after just five miles. Quite simply: These are not good running shoes. Asics has many other great shoes. I have been driving the GT-2000 and GT-3000 for many years and am very happy with the Nimbus. However, this shoe was a failure.
