Our experience with this dress is one of the reasons why many refuse to order evening dresses from Revain! However, I am grateful for the ease of return which makes the process a little more fun and less tiring. If this dress had been made with a taffeta skirt as advertised and possibly a buyer's photos as well, it would have been MUCH better and likely to be what we envisioned. Instead, it's a light, thin nightgown material (like a nightgown). Due to my daughter's great shape and youth it looks better on her than first impressions on the hanger but it was far from anything that doesn't scream CHEAP and certainly doesn't warrant it at all. So disappointing. She was so excited to get this dress and I tried to disappoint her. Again, the bottom half is what really ruins it, and could have been done if it was actually thick taffeta material. Turns out we caught a JC Penney sale online and bought a beautiful $200 dress for $60, ten times the quality of that sad little thing. :(
