So they're not as strong of a kaleidoscope effect as I was expecting but it still splits up the images 3-8 times depending in where your looking on the lenses. Most of the colors are purples, blues, and dark reds with a little bit of green, orange, and yellow on the edges (I think the green, orange, and yellow shades look better so I would've preferred more of those colors personally). The Main struggle with the older version is that they were really uncomfortable for me so I had to super glue some padding on it, but my friend got the newer pair and they're 100x times comfortable. If you're planning to get them for an outfit though they'll work perfect for that as they do look super cool.
