I have several cats with a large trash can. I like metal spatulas, but there are problems with them. (slow, lumps fall off sides etc.) This shovel does NOT have these problems! (See video) Rubbish is thrown through the dustpan FAST and effortlessly. (I use the best cat litter in the world. That's what they say, I didn't call it that). It keeps clumps in the bucket and doesn't fall off the sides. I also saw someone use wire cutters to cut off some "sticks". I think it's not necessary at all. People complaining about the pen. Yes, that's the only thing I would change. The wire rises to form a relatively uncomfortable and ergonomic rear-facing grip. It has a thin foam coating, but it's still uncomfortable to hold or grip. I ended up removing the foam rubber, wrapping the handle in electrical tape and putting the lid back on. which has helped some. But you're reaching for a hard wire. They definitely could have made the grip better. Advantages: QUICKLY processes dirt. Keeps lumps on the bucket. Robust construction. It is possible to remove the wires with a cutter if you decide to enlarge the holes in the pan. Cons: Uncomfortable grip. trash can above. The advantages clearly outweigh the disadvantages.
