Wish I had bought this before the paint got damaged on the sunny side of the motorhome but my husband thought a cover would make access difficult. Well, it slows you down, but at least there won't be any more fading and peeling. And there are zippers that allow access. It took the visit of a much more agile grandson (who isn't afraid of heights) to close the lid. The end result was not as perfect as in the picture, but quite acceptable. Please tell me why the instruction was not written down and placed in a conspicuous place! We didn't see them until we took the cover off. We wondered what the extra piece was. It should cover the top of the stairs! I never found out what those cute little bags were for. 9/5/2019 Do not buy this van cover. Just a year old and the motorhome on the roof had fallen apart completely lengthwise. No, no branches or objects of any kind were touching the van and no one was on the roof. He just fell apart. 09/09/2019 I contacted the manufacturer who (to my surprise) fulfilled the warranty. Based on that I would buy again with confidence.
