Item arrived as stated…. The material feels solid, the case stands as described... the only difference, as others have said, is that the hard part of the case is quite thin on the sides, and when handled like most, it wears down those areas quickly and identifies problem areas if you drop it. I suppose if you take that into account and take it with you everywhere the case should last for quite a while... FYI there is no sleep function on the case... Closing or opening the case does nothing on my iPad. , this is a brand new 8th generation iPad…
