Needed to shred any documents containing personal information into very small pieces, so small that they cannot be returned together . Identity theft is a real problem today. This paper shredder does an excellent job of shredding your documents into small pieces. However, it can be easier to use. For safety reasons, the slot where the paper is inserted is small so you don't hurt your fingers. It would not be good. But in order for the paper to be loaded, it has to be fed through at a precise 90 degree angle. 85 doesn't work. And the width is just over 8 1/2 inches, so you have to be very careful that the paper is inserted exactly, otherwise it won't work. I believe it could be designed for more flexible use. The funnel analogy, let's be a little less specific, but the job gets done anyway. The same applies to putting the basket back into the machine after it has been emptied. It takes 3 or 4 tries to get it in every time. I think it could be made simpler. Our old mill didn't have this problem. The old mill had to be replaced because the motor relay had failed and there were simply no spare parts. I even looked at the Alibaba but they just aren't available.
