Aside from the good reviews, the other thing that I liked about these scissors is that they are convex ground. And indeed, they are razor sharp. I could tell that the edge was sharp. and by sharp, I mean that they can be used to shave the hair off your arm, which I was able to do. Even sharper than most high end cutlery.Judging from other reviews, it sounds as if the manufacturer has some quality control issues. Mine were fine.Additionally, I'm not happy that these are made in China. That alone almost justifies a negative review. However, in all honesty, these are some impressive scissors. I will say that I haven't tested the Rockwell hardness. If these are actually in the 58+ range, the cutting edge should last for a long time. I will test and adjust this review if they don't aren't at least 55 Rc.
