I have two red tabby cats, one heavy and one light. They both love these one and a half cases from this company. They definitely struggle on sunny days but also sit when it rains. We have single-chamber windows on the second floor of the apartment and it seems very safe. I used rubbing alcohol to clean both the window and the suction cups before sticking it on. Very reliable and convenient entry and exit, especially with a window sill. I wouldn't advise moving it around often, but if you have a permanent safe place this would be ideal.
