I have used the camera for about a month, several times. I am delighted with the picture quality. I've also made films with him and one of them is already on YouTube. I used my Coolpix S210 for several years and was really enjoying its many features until I dropped it and found I couldn't record videos anymore. I'm particularly pleased with the S6800's 12x zoom, something I really missed on my old S210. The zoom is amazing. I've found that I have to hold the camera fairly still (preferably with a tripod) when using the zoom function to record videos. I bought an extra battery so I never have to worry about running out of power when I'm away for a long time. And I bought a 32GB SD card to make sure I have enough storage space if I want to record videos as well as photos.
