Review on 2007-2017 Jeep Wrangler JK JKU - 7 Inch Black LED Halo Headlights | Turn Signal Amber White DRL | Headlamp Replacement (1 Pair) by Mike Pedroza

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Good product at a great price (updated)

Updated 2/11/2020. This product has only been used for a few months, and a large amount of condensation has accumulated in one of the lamps inside the lens and on the lens. the LED ring dies. Unfortunately because I liked her. Review. I will rate this product 5 stars based on various criteria listed below. Cost: Difficulty of assembly: Quality: Overall impression: Cost: 5 out of 5 stars. Price There are few other products that compete, and most of them aren't as easy plug and play as this one. Most other headlights I've researched that come with DRLs require additional wiring, cutting, splicing, etc., but this one doesn't. This alone sets them apart from other products in this price range. Installation Difficulty: 4 out of 5 stars. It took me about an hour to install them, but I think it could have been cut a good 15 minutes if I didn't have to cut the plastic on the primary connectors that attach to the old headlight connectors because the clips wouldn't snap on Spot. It could just be a manufacturing defect in the plastic mold or just a compatibility error. That minor issue aside, installation was fairly straightforward and easy, maneuvering the cables required a bit of planning to ensure the extra turn signals could be hooked up, but that's a small price to pay for the quality. Quality: 5 stars out of 5 Overall, the build quality seems solid, the lenses are DOT and SAE certified as expected, the LEDs are bright and the light doesn't diffuse like some competitors in this price range. The wiring harnesses felt normal, and the wiring didn't feel light or cheap, which is a plus. Overall Impression: If I could get a 4.5 out of 5 I'd only have issues with the main wiring harness, but that's a small price to pay for great headlights (especially when you buy headlights in stock). I'll probably update my review closer to the New Year and have a good time driving them at night to get a feel for their durable quality and how they hold up in the rain.
