I bought this to fill hot tubs. I have to admit I was skeptical. My well water is very rich in iron and magnesium. Every time I added chlorine to the hot tub, the water turned brown. I tried this filter without much hope. Well, I was dead wrong. The water from the hose was crystal clear. I added chlorine and waited for the inevitable brown color but that didn't happen, the water stayed crystal clear. I highly recommend this product if you have a fountain. Just remember to let the water run for a few seconds. Rinse the filter before filling the spa. Fantastic product, will order again.
