You MUST buy a DELL charger---DO NOT BUY GENERALLY
All Dell computers are looking for the right "Dellβ brand charger. If you buy generic it will work BUT your performance will suffer greatly. Usually a 4 core machine runs on a 1 core machine. I bought several universal chargers and threw them all away. I have bought DELL brand chargers like this one and they all work fine. I have nothing to do with Dell. I'm just sharing my experience.
