Review on BIC Sport 31661 Adventure Backrest by Brandon Ball

I've tried about 5 or 6 different seats and this is by far the best. I like it even more than the built in backrests on some of my other kayaks. With six attachment points and a very stiff inner material, you can make it as strong as a built-in backrest, but much more adjustable. They definitely tested it for ergonomics. The high but narrow back provides excellent support without restricting paddling. As said, the inner material is very hard, but the outer is almost like neoprene-coated memory foam. Please note that I have a full back life jacket. If you had a regular high back rowing vest, this could be a problem.
