First I have to say that the product is not perfect. Bought for my visually impaired mother. Because it is programmed to work with only one person's voice, that person must clearly write down the name for the programmed caller numbers. Additionally, names beginning with soft consonants (e.g. F, H, L, P, R, S, V, W) are sometimes not clearly understood by the dialer, and it shuffles and dials one of the other recorded names. To compensate, write the appended word to the name to make it easier to distinguish. An example for Wayne: Write WayneBoston or WayneCell to let the dialer write the Distinguished Name. If two names are confused, simply overwrite one of the names to make it easier to tell them apart. All in all I highly agree with this product as it has enabled my visually impaired mother to call friends, business and medical contacts herself. A few times the dialer mixes up the name you are supposed to dial - in most cases it works well and gives the visually impaired person a greater sense of independence. I gave it 5 STARS because its value for the visually impaired outweighs any of its few issues with dial clarity.
