Review on 🎾 Pre-Strung HEAD Ti S6 Tennis Racket - 27.75 Inch Adult Racquet with Head-Heavy Balance - 4 3/8 In Grip by Rob Dixon

Potentially good racquet, but read on.

I am in my late 40's and haven't played tennis for many years. I bought this racquet based on the good reviews, the fact that it seems to be a good beginner to intermediate level racquet and at a reasonable price. After speaking to a professional tennis player at our club, I learned the following: This racquet is designed for beginners and is more aimed at women or younger players who need help building extra strength on the backswing. Apparently, the ultra-wide body design provides additional performance. The strings that come with this racquet are of rather poor quality and if you plan to play a lot of tennis you should replace your racquet with better quality strings that reduce vibration. and strain on elbow and wrist joints. Even beginners can tell a good racquet from a bad one. I've had the opportunity to hit several more expensive Wilson and Yonex racquets that also had quality strings, and even at my modest skill level, I could tell a significant difference in my ability to hit the ball. For your profile, this racquet might be an acceptable alternative, especially if cost is an issue, but I would recommend spending the extra money to replace your racquet with better strings. I also recommend speaking to a professional tennis player before purchasing a racquet, even if you are new to the sport. If I did, I probably wouldn't buy this racquet at all and would spend the money I spent on a higher quality product. Additionally, if you're planning on competing at any level, you'll need the best gear you can afford, because let's face it, it's all about dubya (W).win!
