Excellent lightweight racquet for intermediate players

This is a very good racquet for beginners and intermediate players. The sweet spot is large and the racquet is lighter than most other tennis racquets, but it delivers tremendous power. The trade-off, of course, is that it offers limited control. The racquet is balanced towards the head.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other racquets

decent racquet, but reviews seem exaggerated

(experienced beginner turns middle-aged, athletic). Was expecting more judging by the rave reviews. It's a decent racquet, nice construction, good feel etc. but it's a bit strange to play with. It's "hard" (very tight) and the hits just aren't controlled. I'm hitting more balls, but I'm having a hard time hitting the target. Aside from a bigger head, I'll keep looking for a better racquet. I give it a 3/5 for the way it plays.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Very expensive

The HEAD Ti S6 is a medium-weight racket.

The Head Ti series was one of my racquets, I had a Ti S2 and it's great so I decided to get an updated version of the Ti series. So far after playing for a few weeks I can say this is a really light racquet, it's an oversized Head racquet. I say this is best for beginners who have just started playing and need a lightweight racquet before moving on to the next level in tennis. In general this is a good racquet and its quality is remarkable. Thank you for reading :)

You'll outgrow this racket quickly.

I bought this racquet for my wife who has not hit a tennis ball in over 25 years to get back into the sport. Based on feedback from a number of web sources, I decided to give the Ti S6 a try. The first thing to know is that this thing is very light. This turned out to be both a big advantage and a big disadvantage. This has the advantage of requiring little effort to swing, but it also results in an inability to control ball placement if the player is trying to add some power. With that in…

Great beginner/intermediate tennis racket. Best value racquet I've ever had

When I was young I played tennis for fun and had Head, Slazenger tennis racquets (yes that's an old brand), Wilson and even adidas in all shapes and sizes Materials (from wooden clubs to titanium). and I have to say, when I decided to play tennis again ten years later, I had a hard time making a choice: spend too much money on a tennis racquet and find something that works well for an average player. I tried the cheap options you can find at Target or Walmart but they weren't impressive in…

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Low repairability

Potentially good racquet, but read on.

I am in my late 40's and haven't played tennis for many years. I bought this racquet based on the good reviews, the fact that it seems to be a good beginner to intermediate level racquet and at a reasonable price. After speaking to a professional tennis player at our club, I learned the following: This racquet is designed for beginners and is more aimed at women or younger players who need help building extra strength on the backswing. Apparently, the ultra-wide body design provides additional…

Pros

Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
