There is no comparison.

Let me start by saying that I'm basically an Android guy (I have a Galaxy s8+ and recently owned an NVIDIA Shield tablet) and a Windows guy. The last time I used an Apple product was in 2011 when I bought an iPad 2 (which I sold a year later) but I use a 27" iMac at work so I have some experience with that Apple products. I wanted to paint more digitally and wanted to buy a tablet to do it on the go. After extensive research and hands-on use of multiple devices whenever I could, my final 4 choices were the Galaxy S3, Galaxy Tab A 10.1 with S Pen, Surface 4 pro, and iPad Pro. I ditched the Tab A almost immediately as it's only an HD screen, although it looks good in terms of color but hasn't reduced the resolution. wise. i could see PIXEL. Terrible, terrible pixels. It also has a 16:9 aspect ratio, which just isn't great for drawing. At $270 I think it's a lot for a mid-range Android tablet, but it just didn't work for me. So I figured the S3 would fill the bill. Sure it's a bit pricey but it's such an improvement the Tab A. Beautiful screen we created and it has the Android OS that I know and love. But the S Pen still didn't suit me in terms of weight and length, and the screen was a bit small. Then Surface Pro. The Surface Pro is a great machine, but I just didn't get the feel of using Win 10 on a mobile device. And if I wanted processor options for non-mobile devices, I expected to spend a lot more money. So I decided to try the iPad Pro over the weekend. For what I want there is no comparison. No one. It's stupid when people say otherwise. The screen is just amazing and the lack of lag with the Apple Pencil is like drawing on paper, it feels so good in your hand. The build quality is impressive and I can't believe how light the device is. The speakers are nice to hear too. It was hard to decide whether to go with 10.5 or 12.9, but I ended up with 10.5 as it would be a bit more portable. If I decide I need an extra screen, I'll grab the next-gen 12.9 model and give it to my wife. I love the improvements Apple has made to iOS over the years and am excited for iOS 11. .
