It's well made and will definitely last, but if you have a dog that's aggressive with their leash or can chew on it, it's likely to break easily. Scuba material and soft/flexible plastic. There is no Velcro to attach it to the leash. So if your leash is too thin and wide, or doesn't have a second handle to prevent slipping, it will fall off the leash instantly when not in use. Can this be fixed simply by sewing or maybe even gluing? For me personally this isn't a problem as I got my dog a new leash for Christmas so it will be a two in one gift for him (laugh if you want but it's nice to see him rejoices in the gifts) But anyway, if you don't know how to sew, check out the options to make sure it works for you!
