Good price, everything came as described and works well.

This is a great value lighting kit. Sometimes lighting can be REALLY expensive. These sets have their reasons. Important note: These are NOT Arri or Kino flows. However, these lights don't cost thousands or even hundreds of dollars either. It was about $60. If you're an independent filmmaker, aspiring videographer, or photographer (or experienced but still want a good, inexpensive kit), these lights are likely for you. The old adage "you get what you pay forโ€ works well here. These lights are definitely worth $60. Most creative video or photo projects are expensive (even at low levels) when we turn on our cameras, lenses, storage media, batteries, tripods, computers, editing software, and so on. Saving money on one of these items can make a world of difference. I've seen several similarly priced kits that have reviews stating the bulbs fell apart when unscrewed, but these bulbs didn't have this problem. The bars are light, not particularly heavy, but then again, we're not talking about HollyWood C-shaped bars with sandbags. These stalls are fine if treated responsibly. It wouldn't be a good idea to screw the crap out of them, but then again, like I said, if they're handled with care and tightened just enough to make them snug, they work great. The softboxes seem solid so far and came with protective cases that some of the other kits didn't have. I haven't measured the cables, they seem to be sufficient for most situations. I would recommend getting a splitter and an extension cord, which is what most independent filmmakers, videographers and photographers should have anyway. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
