First off I can't understand why people are trying to install this. Do yourself a favor and don't try to twist your body to get both hands on the footwell, YOU ONLY NEED ONE HAND TO PRESS THE PEDAL. The bolts are welded to the bracket, so all you have to do is slide this bracket into the truck, hang the pedal on the bracket, and screw in one of your nuts. The pedal has a nice rough texture. Color that offers good support and the position seems perfect in my opinion. I installed it in less than 10 minutes one night after work, and my left foot naturally landed on the pedal the first time I got into the truck in the dark. Assuming it holds up over time I think it's a good buy.
