I put in a large bottle of baby shampoo, 2 regular size bottles of shampoo and conditioner, and 32 ounces of facial cleanser with no drip problems. I removed it from the water in a corner, that might help with adhesion. Just make sure the area is clean and dry and push the suction cups all the way in until they "click".
