Two friends gave me earrings for Christmas this year and I was sad because I refused to wear earrings 10 years ago because they made my overly sensitive ears sore and bleed every time I put them on - even the ones made specifically for sensitive ears. Rather than returning them I did a little research and found that 14k gold is the best metal for sensitive ears and since they have smooth backs I decided to try them out and hope my earlobes have healed enough to see the to wear that I sometimes get for Christmas. Although my ears were already irritated and plugged after wearing the gift earrings for several hours the night before, I put them on as soon as they arrived and immediately forgot I was wearing them because they were so comfortable! Even when I was sleeping they didn't stick to my neck and I even forgot I was wearing them because there was no pain or irritation. They look beautiful and sophisticated as an added bonus. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to wear earrings again!
