Review on ALTRA Paradigm Men's Road Running Shoe by Kino Gerami

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Too narrow. Uncomfortable landing.

If you're used to more neutral Altra shoes like the Escalante, this is a whole different beast. I love the zero fall feel, but due to pain and aging I decided to try their stability line. The midsole is too narrow and my heel slipped a lot. The shoe feels bulky and a little heavy, but I was willing to ignore that knowing it was a stable shoe. In the end I sent them back. The narrow midsole and heel slip wouldn't cut it. Again, I love Altra, but stability shoes aren't their forte.

Pros
  • The stylish and versatile gray color makes this shoe ideal for sports and everyday life.
Cons
  • Insufficient cushioning.
