Review on Fox Run 3936 Garlic Keeper by Oso Mears

I just got this garlic holder so can't say how well it works yet, I'll have to update my review after using it. I can comment on my first impressions. .Pro: This is the perfect size for what I was looking for. It looks like it can hold 2 cloves of garlic, maybe 3 if it's broken. Plenty of room for me, I'd rather buy more garlic as I need to keep it fresh than stock up extra. The overall look is exactly the same as the picture, should work fine. Cons: The first thing I noticed was that there was a little damage on the outside of the box. There is no way of knowing if the box was damaged before or during delivery. Also the box itself fell apart where it was glued to form the box. More on that in a minute. The cover is a different shade than the base of the holder, it looks like a different production? There are also a few white spots on the lid, mainly at the base of the handle on top of the lid where the trim seems to have broken off. The lid doesn't seem to fit the base of the depot either, you have to move it around a bit to get it where it fits best. The hole in the top of the holder is small, if you buy large garlic bulbs you may have trouble getting them through the hole. So the overall impression is that it looks like it was sent back at some point, the box was broken and then possibly put back together and it looks like I got the holder and lid from two different production batches. Not enough to make me return it as it will likely stay out of sight in the closet anyway. I'll have to update this review once I start using it.
