Need normal light bulb, or something, to stretch sockets before inserting LED bulbs

These e26 socket strings are seemingly heavy duty. They're heavy enough that the tight compression fittings the bulbs slip into won't accept LED bulbs that don't have a smooth taper expanding above the actual socket. I found that putting an old style full glass bulb in the socket first worked well to stretch the collar of plastic enough that I could, with extreme force, twist and push the LED bulbs into the sockets.Basically, don't give up just because you can't push the bulb in. Stretch the socket.
