SPECIFICATIONS: Included in this purchase is a single strand for string lighting. No bulbs are included in this purchase; however, the cord is specifically designed for size E12 screw base bulbs. Each strand is 14 feet in length with space for 10 bulbs. COMPATIBLE WITH E12 BULBS: This purchase is for the 14 ft. cord with space for 10 E12 screw base bulbs. There are 16 inches of spacing between each socket. Each socket is ETL listed for indoor/outdoor use. You will need to purchase your own bulbs separately. INDOOR OR OUTDOOR: This corded string light part is safe to use both indoor and outdoor and tested to withstand water and weather. Use it confidently, knowing they are DAMP rated and won't break when exposed to moisture, snow, or wind. Ideal for creating a mood inside or outside. The bulbs have to be twisted in TIGHT

I almost mistakenly thought this product was defective and returned it. Turns out that with all 3 types of E26 LED bulbs I had, it is necessary to screw in the bulbs with a LOT more force than normal. After that, it works wonderfully.

Need normal light bulb, or something, to stretch sockets before inserting LED bulbs

These e26 socket strings are seemingly heavy duty. They're heavy enough that the tight compression fittings the bulbs slip into won't accept LED bulbs that don't have a smooth taper expanding above the actual socket. I found that putting an old style full glass bulb in the socket first worked well to stretch the collar of plastic enough that I could, with extreme force, twist and push the LED bulbs into the sockets.Basically, don't give up just because you can't push the bulb in. Half of the sockets don’t work with incandescent bulbs and LEDS don’t fit.

Bought this product to use in my greenhouse with led grow bulbs I opened this package and it was obviously a return. The zip ties holding it together had been cut and the cord was wadded up and thrown in the box. LED plastic bases don’t fit in the sockets that great. I knew from reading reviews that this was a possibility. So several sockets didn’t work. I grabbed a few different incandescent bulb types I had around the house. They fit but most of the sockets don’t work. :(
