I haven't used a phone case and have carried it in my bag for the past few years. However, since I got the Samsung S8+, the phone's screen became too sensitive and accidentally pressed the buttons in my pocket due to body heat. So I bought this case and have been using it for about a month now. That's great. It has both a simple belt clip that I attach to my belt for quick use and two loops that I can thread through my belt to keep the case from coming loose. Due to the type of work I do, the typical clip-on cases often come undone, but having belt loops to thread the belt through when I put the belt on my pants proved my phone could handle the stay safe and healthy all day long. The cover cannot be removed until you remove the strap. I'll probably buy another one when this wears out.
