Great shoe that chirps on the bare floor

I've worn Toms for many years and I love them in the summer. The soles are usually thin so I ordered them because of the thicker rubber outsole. They fit well and are well made BUT they chirp on hardwood and tile floors just like basketball players during a game. When I stop or change direction, I hear a loud squeak/chirp. I keep them, but I have to walk carefully not to make noise.

Pros

This is my third pair and I got what I expected. Convenience is the best I can say.

Cons

A downside to this product could be that it might not be the most durable option for oxfords. While TOMS is known for its comfortable and stylish shoes, the fabric that Alpargata slippers are made of cannot stand up to regular wear and tear over time.
