These bulbs took longer to set up than any other smart bulbs in my house. I built three of these into a ceiling fan. They don't form a group. Since they have to be adjusted individually, I had to screw in each bulb individually and go through the whole process. When I first flicked the "OFF-ON-OFF-ON-OFF-ON" wall switch, there was no response. I tried the string of lights on the fan and after repeated attempts to turn on the wifi I finally managed to get a fast blink. The problem is that the installation should start with a slow blink. I finally connected the first one after about half an hour. I then proceeded to set up bulb number two. I had the same difficulty with the "OFF-ON" operation with the added issue that lightbulb number one (which was already paired) also started blinking. I unscrewed it a bit and finally I was able to install the second bulb. To install the third bulb, I had to unscrew the first two slightly. it was pain The good news is that after this ordeal, the bulbs integrated with Alexa as expected. Get LIFX lightbulbs instead.
