Better than expected!

I was a bit skeptical about this product but needed something small to power my patio speakers. I have several large Yamaha receivers but there really isn't a convenient place to mount something this size. I connected this amp to a pair of Yamaha NS-AW150 outdoor speakers ($95 for a pair at Revain) and the whole setup sounds pretty good. It doesn't compare in any way to the heavy equipment I have at home, but I'm pretty happy with how the combination sounds in my backyard. This results in a decent volume and the sound is clear with no noticeable distortion. The covered patio area is approximately 15 feet by 40 feet and this amp has no problem placing it. In fact, you can hear the music quite clearly in the pool far away. I'm sure my neighbors will complain to me at some point this summer. I use this 100% Blue Tooth and get a range of about 40 feet without failing. It works great for me. Again, I'm pretty happy with the setup, but here's what I noticed: - There's this annoying sound that plays when you turn it on and it plays again when you turn it off. /Bluetooth connect. I solve this problem by turning down the volume before turning it on. You can wait about 15 seconds and then turn up the volume. The problem has largely been resolved. It's annoying but doesn't stop the show. It can't be a 50W per channel amplifier with the included power supply. The power supply itself is only 60 watts. The amp appears to be rated for more power, but I'm not sure I'll test that. Because of this, volume seems to peak when the volume slider is at around 75%. Increasing it to 100% doesn't affect the volume you hear. Again, the noise level is enough for my needs, but you could probably get more with an 80W or 100W power supply. Hope that helps. For $150 (with speakers) I got the setup I needed.
