I have a very young type 1 diabetic who has been on the omnipod for 18 months (half a year after DKS). I've tried EVERYTHING for the past four years to keep his stupid capsules on while swimming, including not just capsule glue, but IV pads, pediatric ICU tape, to the "supposedly sticky" like some mucus that's really like rubber looked like glue but was made for the skin. Nothing, and I mean NOTHING could hold this little boy if there was a pool. Well, we had planned a vacation to Florida, and (of course) the resort we stayed at had a waterfall pool, volcano AND waterslides (a little boy's dream come true, a diabetic mom's worst nightmare). So I ordered these with ABSOLUTELY NO HOPE they would work as I have been very disappointed with other similar products in the past and packed 20 capsules for a 10 day vacation. Boy was I surprised! You survived! Three days of daily use of the pool and its capsule has actually expired! I didn't think I would hear those beeps the whole trip! Not only that, but do you know how to wait 24 hours to make sure the glue really sets before taking a shower? Well, of course we promised an after-dinner pool, and guess when the pod squeaked? Right BEFORE dinner (of course). So stun him, swap the pod, put one of these on him and he went straight to the pool door and he STILL STAYS ON! So yes, I'm sold. No rash, came off easily with Unisolve and now I've decided to keep them on hand for pools, splashbacks, just about anything but water.
